The Pathways Exercise Video for People with Limited Mobility is a non-aerobic exercise program specifically designed for people with physical disabilities, including those with Multiple Sclerosis and people using wheelchairs. The 48-minute videotape can be used independently at home or in a group setting. An assisted version of each exercise is demonstrated for people who require help. Instructor Shoosh Crotzer uses a yoga-based approach to the 24 exercises in the video. Leg, abdomen, back, shoulder, and arm muscles are given equal attention. Done in real time, the tape is slow paced so viewers can easily follow along. A variety of camera angles capture Crotzer's instructions and explanations to make correct positioning of the body vividly clear. Viewers are constantly reminded to go at their own pace and breathing is emphasized throughout. The tape closes with a 10-minute relaxation period. The video comes with a Doctor's checklist that outlines each exercise, and users are encouraged to show the guide to their doctor before beginning the program.
