The Shad Sewing Machine is a wireless, remote-controlled sewing machine specifically designed for those with restricted movement who have difficulty doing needlework using a standard sewing machine. This device is comprised of 2 units: An on/off switch that can be placed anywhere round the workstation and an interface unit mounted on the machine body which picks up a radio signal from the switch and operates the machine. When the switch is pressed, the machine will start/stop stitching. The device’s pre-selected speed controller (with or without a Velcro strap) and variable speed foot pedal allow users to monitor the speed and prevent the sewing machine from running away from them. And since it is wireless, there are no trailing cables that users have to maneuver around. The device recharges independently so the machine can be put away when not in use. When fully charged, it will provide up to 8 hours of continuous sewing use. The Shad Sewing Machine Model features 20 stitches, including buttonhole, overlocking and stretch stitch. NET WEIGHT: 18.74 pounds (8.5 kilograms). WARRANTY: 1 year guarantee.
