The Talking Pedometer with FM Radio, model PE829, is a voice output pedometer designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This pedometer measures steps taken, distance walked, time elapsed, and calories burned. Announcements for walking functions and data are delivered though the included sport earbud headphones. Memory stores seven days of walking data including steps, distance, and calories. A Target feature measures progress toward and estimates time to reach a goal. The step counter measures 0 to 99,999 steps, A pacer beep keeps the user on track toward exercise goals. The FM radio can be played through the headphones and the tuner features five user-selectable channel presets and auto-scan. The pedometer includes a digital 12- or 24-hour clock with weekday and alarm. POWER: Uses two CR2032 3-volt batteries (included). DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 2.25 x 1.5 x 2.5 inches.
