The OrthoMouse is an ergonomic mouse designed for use by individuals with carpal tunnel syndrome or other repetitive strain injuries (RSI) of the hand. This mouse has an asymmetrical, semi-spherical shape that obligates the hand to work and rest in the Position of Function, in which all the musculoskeletal components of the fingers, hand, wrist and forearm exist in complete equilibrium. Extensive and repetitive work or periods of immobilization (rest/inactivity) are conducted in a position that does not cause strain, pain, or injury. The mouse comes in left- and right-handed versions and adapts to different sizes with three interchangeable adapters (small, medium, and large) for the palm of the hand and two upper adapters. The body is textured to provide micro-channels for air flow and decreased perspiration. It has five programmable buttons and is corded with a USB interface. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Windows, Macintosh OS, or Linux. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 2.56 x 4.45 to 5.35 x 3.23 inches. The cord is 5 feet, 10 inches long. WARRANT: Two-year limited warranty.
