Paraplis Umbrella Holder

The Paraplis Umbrella Holder is an umbrella holder for wheelchair or stroller designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. The unit attaches to stroller or wheelchair to hold an umbrella to protect both the seated user and an individual pushing the chair or stroller. When in use, it swings up to hold an open umbrella. When not in use, it swings down to carry the closed umbrella at the side of the stroller or chair. The device attaches to any shape bar or tube and the
adjustable clamp holds open umbrella upright. A
push-button release swings the holder up or down. Rubber pads cushion the tube or umbrella handle. The device consists of a reinforced plastic bar with two adjustable clamps. Each clamp has a push-button release for angle adjustments. Rubber inserts inside each clamp prevent damage to the wheelchair or umbrella. A thumbscrew hinges into place to secure the clamp around the wheelchair tube or the umbrella stem. DIMENSIONS: The plastic bar is 7.5 inches. The clamps fit tubes from 0.75 inch to 1 3/8 inch in diameter. The Bottom of umbrella handle extends 4 inches above bottom the clamp. WARRANTY: One-year warranty against manufacturer defects.
