Enabling Devices Thumb Switch

The Enabling Devices Thumb Switch is designed for use by individuals with fine motor skills for individuals with physical or neurological disabilities.The thumb switch capitalizes on thumb mobility. The users hold the yellow cylindrical base in their hand and presses the red button with the thumb for momentary switch operation. The soft, flexible plastic base can help teach grasping and fine motor skills.

Asl Egg Switch Finger Ring Mount (Model Asl300R)

The ASL Egg Switch Finger Ring Mount, model ASL300R, is switch mounting hardware designed for use by individuals with cerebral palsy or neurological or upper extremity disabilities. This mount for the ASL 300 Egg Switch (not included; see separate entry) holds the Egg Switch near the user's finger. Screws for the switch are included. OPTIONS: Egg switch (model ASL 300).

Finger-mounted reading device

The Finger-mounted reading device is a prototype with a built-in camera that converts written text into audio for visually impaired users. The device provides feedback — either tactile or audible — that guides the user’s finger along a line of text, and the system generates the corresponding audio in real time.

The Thumb Switch, model 802, is a designed to develop fine motor skills for individuals with physical or neurological disabilities. Mounted on a cylindrical base, the switch is activated by pressing a button similar to a doorbell. COLOR: The base is yellow and the button is red.
