Betty Gore, 40 years of dedication, at Eunice Manor Nursing Home

Eunice News - 1/15/2018

For a person to have been employed at one place for 40 years is an acoomplishment in itself.

Betty Gore, assistant director of nurses at Eunice Manor, can say that.

Gore was surprised with an appreciation party Thursday, given by her administrator and co-workers.

"I'm surprised. I do have to say I love my job. I enjoy the people, co workers I work closely with. I consider us a big family. They are all wonderful," said Gore.

Gore began her career as a LPN at Eunice Manor 40 years ago. Her administrator at this time was June Dupuis.

Her current administrator Nickie Toups is pleased with Gore's work ethics. Toups added, "It's wonderful when you have a dedicated, loyal, long time employee as Betty. She shows and exemplifies true work values. She is a hard worker, and her work ethics goes above and beyond. I'm thrilled to have her here and appreciate her."

Gore was surprised with a watch as a gift, presented by Toups.
