Saint Paul Pioneer Press - 4/4/2019

April 04-- Apr. 4--Before hitting the hardwood, some of the nation's best college basketball players took time to chat, sign autographs, and color.

The 20 top players from Division 1 NCAA basketball teams visited patients of Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul Thursday.

The patients, kids battling cerebral palsy, spina bifida and other conditions, participated in arts and crafts and received autographs and team merchandise from players such as Houston guard Corey Davis Jr. and Minnesota forward Jordan Murphy.

The players were en route to U.S. Bank Stadium for the Reese's College All-Star Game that will take place Friday.

Also in attendance were mascots for the Minnesota Twins, St. Paul Saints, Minnesota Wild, and Minnesota United as well as Miss Minnesota Michaelene Karlen.
