BRIEF: Missing autistic child found safe near Anthony Wayne Trail

Jan. 13--An autistic child who had been missing since early Saturday morning has been found safe.

A passerby saw Quamell Jones, 15, walking on the Anthony Wayne Trail, according to the Toledo police.

"The Toledo Police Department would like to thank the public for their help," said a Toledo police news release.

Update: Thankfully, Quamell Jones has been found safe ... A passerby saw him walking on the AW Trail by Sherwood. Thank you for the retweets and sharing the word. Great job to the citizen that stopped and called #toledopolice!

Mr. Jones was unharmed.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances around Mr. Jones leaving his home.
