First 5 Lake Commission to meet March 14

LAKEPORT, Calif. ? The First 5 Lake Commission will meet on Wednesday, March 14.

The commission will meet beginning at 3 p.m. at the Lake County Office of Education, 1152 S. Main St., Lakeport.

Agenda items include approval of the February 2018 financial reports; presentation from Autism, Advocacy and Intervention; a public hearing on First 5's 2016-17 Annual Report; update from the By-Laws Review Subcommittee; update from Evaluation RFQ Ad Hoc Committee; quarterly report and approval to release Q4 funds for The Nest; BLOOM and Imagination Library; and updates and discussion regarding marijuana and tobacco.

There also will be reports from Executive Director Carla Ritz and the commissioners.

All those interested in the well-being of families and young children are encouraged to attend.

The commission includes Chair Pam Klier, Vice Chair Denise Pomeroy and members Brock Falkenberg, Jeff Smith, Crystal Markytan, Susan Jen, Laurie Daly, Carly Swatosh and Allison Panella.
