All fun and games at Kidstock

The morning hours of the event were reserved for children with special needs, such as autism, when the event was "a little quieter." said organizer Ashlee Painter. Many kids have sensory over-processing disorders, so noises sound louder to them, and they become overwhelmed by crowds, Painter said. The event, a fundraiser for the Autism Society of Nebraska, brought in more than 500 attendees, and the funds from it will stay local as well as go to Nebraskan families.
