Burnham Law announces partnership with CU Boulder athletics to fund domestic violence programs

Daily Times-Call - 8/27/2019

Aug. 27--On Tuesday, Burnham Law announced a partnership with the University of Colorado Boulder and its athletics multimedia rights holder, Buffalo Sports Properties, to raise awareness and money for local domestic violence programs.

For the entire 2019-20 football season, for each defensive three and out or fourth down stop that the Buffs record, Burnham Law will donate $100 to the Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence and the CU Office of Victim Assistance, two organizations that support survivors, raise awareness around domestic violence, and work to reduce violence in Boulder and its surrounding communities.

"Burnham Law is leading the way for other firms and business to be part of the solution of domestic violence," Anne Tapp, the executive director of SPAN, wrote in a statement. "We are excited to see the Buffs and CU Athletics take on the issue of domestic violence. They can be powerful champions to raise awareness of the reality of domestic violence in our communities and on our campuses, and the importance of all of us working to end a culture of violence."
