Hixson man charged with child molestation

Sep. 11--The Walker County Sheriff's Office has arrested a Hixson man on charges of child molestation.
Leon Woods, 59, was arrested and booked on Tuesday, according to Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson.
The incident allegedly occurred in Rossville, Georgia, on Sept. 4. The victim's age and sex are not being released in order to protect the victim's identity.
Wilson confirmed Wednesday that this is Woods' second child molestation charge.
The first came earlier this year in Sequatchie County, Tennessee, and Woods was released on bond in February.
Wilson said Woods has a trail date for the first charge later in September and now is in the Walker County Jail. He is being held without bond.
