BRIEF: Police: Keene woman arrested on domestic violence charge

Keene Sentinel - 3/27/2017

March 27--An argument over dinner escalated into a physical altercation at a Keene residence Saturday night, according to police.

Keene police arrested Kerrie A. Callahan, 45, of Keene at the Eastern Avenue residence police say she shared with her boyfriend, James Brady, 51, of Keene.

Keene police Lt. Steven Tenney said Callahan hit Brady in "the face area" when the two were "literally arguing over dinner."

"She got mad at not wanting to eat dinner at the kitchen table," Tenney said.

He said police were notified of the incident by a neighbor who called 911; they responded just after 7 p.m.

Police then arrested Callahan, who was charged with domestic violence-assault. She was released on $1,500 personal recognizance.

Tenney added that Brady was not hospitalized for injuries.

Callahan is due to appear Tuesday in 8th Circuit Court District Division in Keene.
