Child Abuse/Neglect prevention month to be recognized

RAMAH ? The Ramah-Navajo Chapter is sponsoring an egg hunt and fun walk/run as part of the chapter's activities for Child Abuse/Neglect Prevention Month. The egg hunt is scheduled at the Pine Hill School campus starting at 10 a.m.April 21. The Fun walk/run will be held on Nicholls Ranch Road starting at 6 p.m.April 30.

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services encourages communities to support families, and play an active role in preventing child abuse and neglect as well as taking positive action to promote child and family well-being.
