Grand jury indicts more than 70

The June term of the Mercer County Grand Jury convened June 11, and members spent more than two days reviewing the county's criminal caseload. By the end of the term, the following true bills had been returned. Charges included:

Nicholas Chet Andrepont: Driving in an impaired state causing death; obstructing an officer;

Chad Anthony Barrett: Delivery of hydromorphone;

Henry Vincent Bennett: First-degree sexual assault; sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person in a position of trust; incest; gross child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury; accessory;

April Dawn Bennett: First-degree sexual assault; sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person in a position of trust; incest; gross child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury; accessory;

Kevin Blankenship: Obtaining money by false pretenses, financial exploitation of an elderly, protected or incapacitated person;

Brady Christian Brown: Grand larceny;

William Howard Buckles III: Third-offense domestic battery; third-offense domestic assault;

Amanda Lynn Combs: Fleeing in a vehicle from a law enforcement officer in a manner showing reckless indifference; displaying a false certificate of inspection; improper registration; operating a vehicle without proof of insurance; driving while license is suspended or revoked for driving while in an impaired state; reckless driving;
