BRIEF: Public safety: Bloomington man accused of strangling woman

Aug. 07--Aggravated domestic battery -- A Bloomington man faces charges that accuse him of strangling a woman.

Steven Haas, 40, of the 4000 block of Rockledge Road, is charged with aggravated domestic battery, unlawful restraint and domestic battery.

Charges relate to an Aug. 4 incident in which a woman was allegedly strangled and pushed. Haas was being held in the county jail lieu of $535.
