BRIEF: Feeling the child-care crunch? We want to hear from you

Seattle Times - 2/15/2018

Feb. 15--Child-care costs in King County are among the highest in the nation, and the costs in surrounding counties aren't much better.

For new parents, that means monthslong waiting lists (complete with a nonrefundable fee), a lengthy application process and monthly tuition that, in some places, exceeds $2,000.

The Seattle Times is hoping to speak to people who have experienced the region's child-care crunch. Did you have a hard time finding day care or preschool for your child? Are you worried about the cost of tuition? Have you considered alternatives, like nanny sharing or keeping your child at home?

We would like to hear from you.
