Two Cents comments for Dec. 31

Over 200 people have left the Environmental Protection Agency, including 200 scientists. This seems to be a position of the new Republican party not to mention saddling our children and grandchildren with $1.5 trillion in extra debt.

If you or your family members lose health care because my family members will no longer have to pay for health care they do not want or need (tax), that's tough. It looks like another free ride on the backs of hard-working taxpayers has ended.

The people complaining about tax cuts for everyone, from poor to rich, sound like ungrateful, bitter and jealous children.The rich pay far, far, far more in taxes than the poor.

With the mayor and city council planning a "homeless campus," they had best build big. They should take heed to the advice from "Field of Dreams" - "Build it and they will come."

The Trump administration is prohibiting officials at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from using vulnerable, entitlement, diversity, transgender, fetus, evidence-based or science-based and the EPA is forbidden to use climate change. Our democracy is becoming a third world dictatorship.
