Public invited to Beech Island veteran project presentation

Sep. 15--The Beech Island Historical Society will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 17 at the society's History and Visitors Center at 144 Old Jackson Highway in Beech Island, S.C.

Featured speaker Frederick Gehle will report on a 10-year project locating and interviewing veterans of World War II as participants in the National Veterans History Project.
