Joystick Replacer Box

AbleData does not produce, distribute or sell any of the products listed on this website, but we provide you with information on how to contact manufacturers or distributors of these products. If you are interested in purchasing a product, you can find companies who sell it below.

The Joystick Replacer Box is a control input interface that allows up to five switches to act in place of a joystick for a Commodore 64, 128, or VIC-20. If all five switches are used, pressing each one corresponds to up, down, left, right, and "fire" on the joystick. The Joystick replacer box with switches can operate any software designed to be operated with a joystick on these computers. A short program is provided which will control the 64-Talker or the VIC-Talker speech synthesizers. A special set of five treadle switches for the Joystick Replacer Box is also available. The Joystick Replacer Box can also control the Light Talker (see separate entry) when that communication aid is used in the joystick mode. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Commodore 128, Commodore 64, and Commodore VIC 20 computers.
