The APT-5 Hi-Lo Active Passive Digital Trainer is a continuous passive motion device and progressive resistance arm and leg exerciser designed for use by seniors and individuals with neurological or physical disabilities. Fully digital, this unit enables the user to control speed, resistance, amount of spins and load levels. A remote control facilitates operation for users with limited movement abilities. An auto reverse feature is designed to assist with the release of seized muscles. In its passive mode, this trainer can be used by individuals with spinal cord injury, spina bifida, cerebrovascular incidence (CVA), cerebral palsy, myopathies, or congenital muscular dystrophy.
