Designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities or visual impairments, the Accenda Voice Control For iPod® is a voice input device that adds hands-free operation to all of the most popular iPod models. As soon as the user plugs in their existing earbuds or headphones into the Accenda Voice Control For iPod® and plugs the cable into the iPod dock connector, they are ready to tell the iPod what to do - no set up is required. Using the sound of their voice and the Accenda Voice Control For iPod®, users can adjust the volume, play, stop, go to the next track, go to the previous track, and replay a song. This device, which is powered by the iPod itself, is tiny (1½") and lightweight, so users can hang it around their neck or clip it to their clothing.

Designed to be usable right out-of-the-box by most English speakers, the Accenda Voice Control For iPod® may also be "trained" to recognize commands in other languages. The Accenda Voice Control For iPod® is made for iPod nano (1st generation), iPod nano (2nd generation), iPod nano (3rd generation), iPod touch, iPod with color display, iPod mini, iPod with Click Wheel, iPod with video, and iPod classic. The Accenda Voice Control For iPod® is compatible with all standard iPod earbuds and headphones, and may be used with external speakers and car audio systems that use the iPod headphone port.
