Monomouse Electronic Magnifier

The MonoMouse® is designed for use by individuals with visual impairments. It allows readers to view documents magnified on the television. The MonoMouse® is an electronic magnifier that offers black and white magnification. It is ideal for individuals who require assistance when reading a book or other text. They can be used on any size of screen. The TV versions plug straight into the SCART socket (physical and electrical interconnection between two pieces of audio-visual equipment) of a television while the PC version uses the USB connection on any PC running the XP or Vista operating system, using the drivers provided. There are two options available on the TV version. Magnification varies (e.g. on a 20 inch screen the Standard Monomouse® magnifies 12x while the High Magnification Monomouse® magnifies 24x). The automatic detect feature means that once the MonoMouse® is turned on, the television switches to the reading mode. When the MonoMouse® is turned off, the television returns to the recreational mode for viewing. One on/off button makes the MonoMouse® Electronic Magnifier easy to use.
