The Sony Digital Voice Recorder, model ICD-BM1, is a digital recorder designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This digital recorder features up to 347 minutes of recording time using a 16 MB Memory Stick (included), and is compatible with Dragon Naturally Speaking Prefered Voice-To-Print Software (not included). Recording capacity depends on the recording mode used. The recorder has three recording modes with sampling rates of 44.1kHz, 16kHz, or 8kHz. Functions include voice e-mail, digital add / overwrite / cut, incremental rewind, and digital pitch control in playback. It has slide control switch operation, Hi/Lo microphone sensitivity, a built-in microphone and playback speaker, and USB connectivity for high speed copying of files to a personal computer. The recorder has an aluminum body with a power on/off switch and earphone and external microphone jacks. A carrying case is included. OPTIONS: Noise- canceling headphones; 128 MB Memory Stick Media, model MSH-128; One-Point Stereo Microphone; Compact Portable Speaker. WARRANTY: One year limited warranty.
