The Homecare Advantage Bed is a motorized bed designed for use by obese individuals and people with severe physical or mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. This fully electric bed has eight functions, including raising and lowering the head section; raising and lowering the entire bed; raising and lowering the foot section; and raising or lowering the sections into a Comfort Chair position. FRAME: The heavy-duty steel frame splits in half for transport and includes oak head- and footboards and one set of powder-coated half rails. CONTROLS: Controls are located on a hand wand connected to a controller. CASTERS: Six casters are standard with four at the head of the bed and two at the foot. The casters at the foot of the bed lock. OPTIONS: Chrome-plated half rails; IV pole; full-frame trapeze; expandable mattress; 48-inch deck wing kit to expand the existing frame. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 14 to 27 x 89 x 41.5 inches. The width between the rails is 39 inches. The length between the headboard and footboard is 80 inches. POWER: The bed requires a 100-volt grounded outlet. CAPACITY: 850 pounds. WARRANTY: 5-year structure limited warranty; 1-year warranty on the mattress; 1-year warranty on electrical, parts, and components (excluding headboards and footboards).
