TapSpeak Sequence is a symbolic direct selection communicator program and communicator training program for people with cognitive, communication, or speech disabilities or autism. The program allows the user to tap or touch a series of images on a touchscreen to play a sequence of messages. To develop motor skills needed to use communicators, taps can be configured to require that the user must lift his/her finger off the screen in a specified time or not move his/her finger more than a specified distance. When the end of the sequence is reached, the user returns to the first message in the sequence. Dragging and dropping a message to a new position in the message list can change the message order. TapSpeak Sequence supports an unlimited number of messages and messages and sequences of unlimited length. The program comes with a set of geometric symbols in a variety of colors for use as message icons, and pictures and drawings can be loaded for use as additional icons. The tap/touch response is configurable to accommodate users with varying motor skill levels. The program can track basic usage. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPad.
