Which Does Not Belong is an auditory perceptual and behavior training program and a language and reading tutorial program designed for use with children with low vision or learning, communication, cognitive or hearing disabilities or autism. This application (or app) allows a parent or teacher to use their Apple iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch to teach children to discriminate which items do not belong in a group as well as introduce them to the negative concept of “not.” The app contains 120 images. For a visual learner, the child is shown four objects at a time and asked to identify the one that does not belong in many different combinations. For example, images of grapes, a strawberry, an orange, and a chocolate cupcake are shown on the screen, and the correct answer is chocolate cupcake. For auditory learners, the app speaks the word or phrase for each image out loud. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple iOS 2.2.1 or later.
