Universal Exercise Bed (Model B)

The Universal Exercise Bed (Model B) is an exercise machine intended for use by people with arthritis or balance or neuromuscular disabilities that prevent them from standing or sitting while exercising. This product features a full size bed with a specially fitted fixed, 6-piece mattress and a metallic frame. At the head of the bed is an arm, chest and shoulders bar with a 120-pound weight stack for upper body strength conditioning. The sides of the upper half of the bed fold down to allow for unrestricted movement of the arms. Foot bars are located at the foot of the bed for sit-ups and other abdominal exercises. A magnetic recumbent exercise bicycle attaches to the foot of the bed. The bike’s height and distance from the foot of the bed can be adjusted. The bed also includes an adjustable height frame located directly above the head of the bed that is intended to hold a 20- to 22-inch flat-screen television. A storage shelf is located under the lower half of the bed for other components relating to the television, such as a stereo receiver, surround sound, computer, and cable box.
