The VarioPro 80 is a refreshable braille display designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This unit has an 80-cell braille display with three navigation rollers located on the front of the display, and three navigation keys left and three navigation keys right of the display. The device requires a screen reading program such as COBRA (see separate entry). It connects to a computer through USB (cable included) or serial port. The casing of the VarioPro 80 is made of aluminum. A carrying case is included. OPTIONS: State Module (SM), Telephone Module (TM), Audio Module (AM), Voice Module (SSM), and Tactile Acoustic Slider Orientation (TASO) Module. COMPATIBILITY: IBM PC running Windows. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Microsoft Windows ME, NT, XP Home or Pro; keyboard; and screen reader. POWER: Built-in rechargeable battery. Charging is through USB or external charger. DIMENSIONS (WxDxH): 561 x 260 x 23.9 millimeters.
