Burnett Body Supports

The Burnett Body Support is a seating support designed to provide postural support for children and adults with diagnoses associated with multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, stroke or dystonia. 

The supports work like traditional molding techniques to form to the user’s need and seating system. Letting air into the system with the foot pump lets the beads flow to the contours of the client and make small adjustments. When complete, extracting the air will produce a supportive mold in seconds. The system is so adaptive that it can change to a new profile at a moment’s notice.

Many different shapes and sizes are available for different conditions. Full body supports are offered in 3 sizes for infants, juniors and adults. These provide seat, back, side, head and neck support for users who require the whole body to be supported. It is available in both adult and junior versions and provide spinal and lateral support where pelvic and upper thigh support is not required.

The Burnett vacuum supports are supplied with a super soft machine washable 100% lambs wool fleece cover. This cover provides good air circulation and high comfort levels for the user.
