Bubble Wrap Stomp Painting is an activity intended for children with gross motor disabilities or for gross motor play to give children the experience of using their gross motor skills through sensory integration.
Technical Specifications: 
Step One:  Gather Materials:
  • Tempera paint
  • Easel paper
  • Tape
  • Scissors
  • Paint brush
  • Paper plate
  • Bubble Wrap

 

Step Two: Attach some bubble wrap to a child's feet using scissors to cut the bubble wrap and tape to secure the bubble wrap around the child's feet.

Step Three: Squeeze some tempera paint onto a paper plate (one paper plate for each color paint).

Step Four: Paint the child's bubble-wrapped feet with some colored paint using tempera paint from a paper plate.

Step Five: Allow the child to stomp all over the easel paper and to create a design of their choice.
