The August Doorbell Cam is a video, audio, and Wi-Fi-enabled smart doorbell that individuals with mobility or lower extremity disabilities can use to answer the door. The August Doorbell Cam works in conjunction with the August Home app, a free mobile app that users can download onto their smartphone (please see separate entry). Through this app, users can receive a notification when a visitor rings the doorbell, see him or her through the 1-way HD camera, and speak to him through the 2-way speaker. Users can also activate a live video feed with on-demand video at any time to monitor activities on their doorstep. The August Doorbell Cam comes with a mounting plate, mounting screws, wall anchors, a hex wrench, a mounting wedge, and a Getting Started Guide.
