The Electric Toothbrush with Handle allows a person with active hand function to brush their teeth independently. This product is designed to be used by individuals who have limited hand mobility. The handle is shaped like a cradle and is made from orthotic material, which is heated with a hairdryer and shaped into an appropriate handle. The handle can be attached to the toothbrush with hot melt adhesive. Optionally there can be a piece of tubing placed on the on/off button to make the button easier to turn off using a chin.

Technical Specifications:

Directions:

  1. Take the orthotic material and heat it with a hairdryer to shape it into the appropriate handle.
  2. Attach the handle to the toothbrush using hot melt adhesive.
