Tennis Monster Counting

Tennis Monster Counting is a fine motor game designed for people with fine motor disabilities to practice their pinching ability by putting beads into a whole in a tennis ball. The user that runs out of beads first wins.

Technical Specifications: 

Step One: Gather materials.

  • One die per player
  • Beads
  • Tennis ball
  • Scissors
  • Googly eyes
  • Glue
  • At least 2 players

Step Two: Cut a slit in the tennis ball (to form the monster's mouth).

Step Three: Glue the eyes onto the tennis ball (above the mouth).

Step Four: Players each roll their dice.

Step Five: Players put in the mouth the same number of beads that they rolled with their die. Players are using their pinching ability to pinch the monster so hard that the mouth or slit opens.
