LEGO Duplo Ring Toss game for kids is a do it yourself activity/game for children 2 years and older with fine motor and learning disabilities to introduce counting and one on one correspondence.

Technical Specifications:

Step One: Gather materials.

  • LEGO Duplo blocks
  • LEGO Duplo board
  • Pipe cleaners

Step Two: Explain the rules of the game. Four blocks equals four points.

Step Three: Set up the game. Get the child to create some LEGO Duplo towers. They can be all the same size or all different. The user can be of the number of blocks representing the number of points that would be scored when a pipe cleaner goes over it.

Step Four: Create pipe cleaner rings and twist the ends together.

  • The user can make the game a lot harder by simply making the pipe cleaner rings smaller. The larger the rings are the easier they are to get over the tower etc.
  • The user can increase the challenge by including wider towers or towers with more blocks.

Step Five: The child aims to toss the pipe cleancer rings onto their LEGO towers.

Step Six: The child counts up the LEGO tower points and compares them to their opponent(s). The one with the most points wins.
