Footbraille is a touch-table designed to help individuals who are blind or have low vision follow a recorded soccer game through the sense of touch. The movement of the soccer ball is pre-tracked and fed to a tablet that has a custom software installed. the tablet relays this information to the touch-table in real-time, which is wirelessly connected to the tablet. Then, when the user places his or her hands on the touch-table, he can feel the soccer ball and follow its trajectory across the “field.” To get even more immersed in the game, the user can listen to the live match commentary at the same time.

Multiple Footbraille devices can be connected to the tablet at the same time, allowing several users to experience the match simultaneously. Developers are currently working on the next phase of Footbraille -getting it to capture a live match and transmit it to the touch-table in real-time.
