The SwitchBox is a switch adapter for computer designed for use by individuals with upper extremity and fine motor disabilities. The switch adapter plugs into the keyboard port on the computer, and the user can then plug up to eight switches into the switch adapter. Its eight switch ports default to the most commonly used key presses for switch software (Space, Enter, up arrow, left arrow, 0, 1, 2, 3). Software is included that allows the user to program the ports to send alternative key presses, words, sentences, or command strings. This product can also be used as a keyboard splitter. It has two PS2 ports, enabling the user to attach two keyboards, such as a standard keyboard and a modified keyboard, at the same time.
