Nursing home resident missing

JACKSON TWP. Police here are seeking help in finding a missing 64-year-old woman.

Jane McClelland, a resident of Laurels of Massillon nursing home, suffers from Alzheimer's Disease, according to a news release from Jackson Township Police Chief Mark Brink.

Brink said McClelland was dropped off for an appointment at Hudec Dental in the Belden Village area at 1 p.m. Friday. She left there at 4:30 p.m., then was dropped off at Giant Eagle at the Strip.

"At this time it is unknown her whereabouts or who she may be with," the release stated.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 330-832-1553. Updates will be posted on the department's Facebook page at Jackson Township Police Department, Stark County.
