Hazleton Area schools scheduled return to classes this week

Apr. 12—Hazleton Area schools will resume classes in person this week. Superintendent Brian Uplinger sent the following schedule of which students return on which day to parents and guardians:
Monday: Kindergarten, pre-kindergarten, grade 12 and early intervention, autistic support, life skills and emotional support classes.
Tuesday: students in grades one, two, three and 11 join those above.
Wednesday: Grades four, five, six and 10 also attend.
Thursday: Grades seven, eight and nine attend for the first time with all other students.
While students may attend classes in person, they also can continue studying online from home as they have been doing since the school year began.
