Morrisville man accused of sexual abuse of child

A Morrisville man was arrested on felony charges for having sexual contact with a child younger than 7 in Eaton last year, state police said Thursday.

Donald L. Whitmore, 47, was arrested Nov. 13 for first-degree sexual abuse, a felony; and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, troopers said.

Whitmore was arraigned in the town of Eaton Court and released on his own recognizance. He was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday, troopers said.
