Jailed prosecutor accused of choking wife in front of couple's kids

Jan. 25--An Oklahoma County prosecutor was jailed Saturday morning, accused of choking his wife in front of the couple's children.

Assistant District Attorney Robert McClatchie, 48, was booked into the Oklahoma County jail about 4 a.m. on complaints of domestic abuse by strangulation and domestic abuse in the presence of a minor child, a misdemeanor. He was being held without bail, according to jail records.

District Attorney David Prater told The Oklahoman his office was gathering information.
