‘Bachelorette’ alum Chad Johnson arrested for domestic violence, robbery

Former “Bachelorette” contestant Chad Johnson was arrested on domestic violence and robbery charges, according to multiple reports.

The arrest happened at 4:10 a.m. Monday in Los Angeles, according to Fox News. Johnson was booked in a Los Angeles jail with a bail set at $100,000, the report said.

Police were called when a neighbor heard and saw an altercation “involving a man pounding on a door and screaming profanities,” E! News reported. According to the report, Annalise Mishler, Johnson’s girlfriend, tried to call the police, but couldn’t because Johnson grabbed and threw her phone. The robbery charge comes from Mishler’s claim that Johnson took her phone.

Officers arrived to find Mishler with “visible red marks on her face,” according to TMZ. According to Mishler, Johnson was drunk and punched a hole through her wall in addition to being physical with her.

In an interview with TooFab on Monday, Johnson said the incident was a result of a relapse.

“I drank to the point where I didn’t even know I was with her," Johnson said. “I screwed up 1,000 percent. You can’t take that kind of stuff back.”

Johnson appeared on “The Bachelorette” in 2016 with JoJo Fletcher and then later, “Bachelor in Paradise."
