Eugene police have charged a man with kidnapping and the intention to rape a woman.

Eugene patrol officers on Nov. 22 responded to the Village Inn on Mohawk Boulevard just before 3 p.m. where Springfield officers already were on the scene of a reported kidnapping, according to a news release.
