Montgomery man charged with attempted murder, domestic violence after woman shot in the neck

Montgomery Advertiser - 1/13/2021

A 26-year-old Montgomery man is facing an attempted murder charge after he allegedly shot a woman in the neck.

Quindarius Minor was arrested Tuesday in connection to the shooting hours earlier.

According to Minor's charging documents, he went to an apartment at Greenbrier Apartments on Virginia Loop Road about 1:15 a.m. and forced entry into the residence.

Once inside, Minor shot the 24-year-old woman in the neck, according to court records.

A magistrate signed a warrant for Minor's arrest about 9:40 a.m. Tuesday.

Minor was also charged with first-degree domestic violence — burglary in connection to the same incident, though court records do not say what relationship he had with the victim.

Police booked Minor in the Montgomery County Detention Facility with a $60,000 bond on the attempted murder charge and a $60,000 bond on the domestic violence charge.
