Man charged with domestic assault

A man is facing multiple domestic assault charges after an incident on Sunday.

At approximately 8:15 a.m., a 45-year-old woman reported her ex-boyfriend assaulted and choked her on two separate occasions, police say.

The man was allegedly also under conditions not to communicate with the victim or be at her residence.

The 41-year-old man was located and charged with two counts of assault, three counts of breaching an undertaking and choking to overcome resistance.

Police say the woman did not need medical attention.
