NYC Department of Transportation employee charged with raping stepdaughters

A bricklayer with the city Department of Transportation was busted for raping and sexually abusing his two stepdaughters, police sources said Saturday.

Jose Lozano, 50, was nabbed at his Bronx home around 10:30 p.m. Friday, cops said.

The stepdaughters are 9 and 11 years old, police sources said. It’s not clear how long the abuse had persisted before Lozano was caught.

Police charged the DOT worker with rape, two counts of sex abuse, two counts of performing a criminal sex act with a child less than 13 years old, and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

His arraignment in Bronx Criminal Court was pending Saturday.
