Learning About the Neighborhood is a personal skills tutorial program designed for use by parents and teachers working with pre-school children with mental, physical, or sensory disabilities. This series of five duplicatable books, five duplicatable CD-ROMs and five online lessons can be used by parents and teachers to instruct children to explore and understand the world around them. Available as a set, titles include: Furniture; Communication; Transportation; Clothing; and Food. A trainer’s guide that explains the series to parents and teachers is provided at no extra cost. The duplicatable books are also available in Spanish and in digital format (Word or PDF) after purchase at no additional cost. This allows the print to be enlarged and the materials to be put into alternate formats. All of the interactive CD-ROMs and online lessons have audio and printable content.
