A limited number of scholarships are available to help those workers who may be having a difficult time finding child care after their usual providers temporarily closed, the organization said in a news release.

To apply for the scholarship, call 561-514-3300. To be eligible, you must be a first responder, emergency personnel or essential worker in Palm Beach County with a child or children age 6 weeks to 12 years.

##IFRAME_1##The scholarships are good for up to 60 days, and were made possible with the support of the Children's Services Council and its CEO, Lisa Williams-Taylor, plus a donation from a private foundation in Palm Beach County, the ELC said.

"Now that the school district is closed until further notice, our first responders and emergency personnel need safe and consistent high-quality child care for their young children and elementary-aged children," Early Learning Coalition CEO Warren Eldridge said. "The last thing they need to worry about right now is finding and paying for child care for their children."
