Austin Public Health will get another 12,000 coronavirus vaccine doses this week

Austin Public Health will again receive 12,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine this week, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services. Austin Public Health also received 12,000 doses last week.

The vaccines are part of 332,750 first doses of the vaccine being provided statewide this week, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services.

UT Health Austin will also receive 1,950 vaccines for the week, according to the state.

Other Central Texas health care providers that will receive doses for the vaccine include:

•Family Emergency Rooms in Cedar Park: 8,000 doses

Hays County Health Department in San Marcos: 1,950 doses

•A+ Lifestyle Medical Group in Bastrop: 1,000 doses

In addition the Department of State Health Services Central Pharmacy Warehouse will receive 2,200 coronavirus vaccine doses this week.

Health care providers receiving a smaller number of doses this week include Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Marcos, which will receive 200 doses, whiile Communitycare David Powell Clinic in Austin, rhe Texas Department of Public Safety, Communitycare in Del Valle, Lone Star Circle of Care in Cedar Park and Baylor Scott&White Medical Center in Taylor will each get 100 doses of the vaccine.
